Congratulations to all students who earned honors for the 3rd quarter!
We encourage open communication with teachers for families whose children face challenges, especially with grades below 70%. Working together can greatly support improvement. Welcome to the New Year at Our Lady of Refuge!
As we begin this exciting chapter with new leadership, returning and new faculty, and fresh faces among our parents and students, we’re thrilled to introduce Oreo, our new mascot! Oreo will play a big role in supporting our mission and fostering school spirit.
To celebrate, we are offering the opportunity to purchase Our Lady of Refuge t-shirts for family members. These shirts are perfect for representing our school in the community, on trips, and wherever else you’d like to show your pride as part of the OLR family!
Please click the link below for details on how to purchase and to find out the order deadline.
Thank you for your support!
Oreo the Panda has arrived. We would like to welcome our new Mascot at OLR. Oreo embodies the values we strive to instill in our students: peace, resilience, unity, stewardship, compassion, and joy. Oreo will serve as a fun and meaningful reminder of the virtues we hold dear as a Catholic school community.
Dear Families, Stakeholders, Community Members, Faculty, and Staff of Our Lady of Refuge Elementary School,
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Principal of Our Lady of Refuge Elementary School, a hidden gem in our community. My name is Dr. Carmen Z. Lopez, and I look forward to working with all of you to continue the school's legacy of excellence. We want to thank Mr. Billings for his many years of service to our school. Under his leadership, numerous accomplishments have greatly benefited our students and staff.
